She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church #1. Dean was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Herbert; her parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Rick) Gibson; grandchildren Taylor, Jordan, Ricky, Michael Gibson. Dean's service will be Thursday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Decatur Township. Visitation will be at the funeral center Wednesday, April 13 from 4 to 8.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hackerman-Patz House at Sinai Hospital, 2434 W. Belvedere, Baltimore, Maryland 21215.
