DEATH CLAIMS HER –
Mrs. Reinhard Gaubetz Died on Friday last, Dec. 2, after an illness of six months, Mrs. Reinhard Gaubetz passed to that borne, whence no traveler returns. The deceased woman has been a constant sufferer, but she bore the ills and pain that flesh is heir to without one murmur of complaint until called to her eternal rest.
Wilhelmina Lindemuth was born in Germany, Aug. 16, 1846. She came to America in 1852 with her parents, locating at Manitowoc. A few years later her parents moved to Chilton and thence to New Holstein. On March 9, 1865, she was married to Reinhard Gaubetz, one of the prominent young farmers of the town of Stockbridge. Here with her husband she passed many pleasant hours and assisted in making a bright and pleasant home. She won the respect of her neighbors and was the idolized mother of a son and daughter. All that medical aid could do was done to relieve her but to no avail. On Tuesday she was buried from the Ebenezer church, of this city, the remains being laid at rest in the cemetery on the hillside.
She leaves a husband, one son, Herman, and daughter, Louise, besided a brother, Richard Lindemuth, to mourn her death.
