Palmer (grandma)died Wed., 15 Nov, at home 2 miles east of Imogene, old age being the cause. Funeral held at Methodist Church. Leaves 6 sons and daughters.", per obit. index card at the Glenwood library. ref: Leader, Malvern IA. Thur. Nov. 23, 1905.
Mary Palmer – Book 9 of the Page County Register of Deaths lists Mary Palmer as buried "from Pierce Twp. to Imogene." The tombstone of her husband, Trajan Palmer, is clearly marked on the top "Father and Mother." It is therefore deduced that she is buried next to her husband in the Monroe Township Cemetery. A walk of the cemetery did not produce a separate stone.
