Source for all other material: "Clark Family History" by Ernest Edward East, 1925. East referred to a John Clark family Bible. Mr. East "in May, 1925, visited the Clark burial lot in Bunker Hill cemetery. The inscriptions on the headstones of John Clark, of Prudence Clark and of Rebecca Clark were easily red. A lilac shrub fully ten feet high grows on the grave of John Clark." A Find A Grave volunteer was unable to locate the marker in 2013. Lilac shrubs are long-lived, so that may be a tip for future researchers.
