Final Rites Held For Mrs. Hawkins. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ritter Funeral Home for Mrs. Lizzie Hawkins, wife of R.M.Hawkins, who died at the family home, 516 Lee at 9:50 p.m. Friday following an extended illness. The services were conducted by Rev. W.A. Wilcoxson, pastor at the Calvary Baptist Church and were well attended. Funeral selections were sung by Mrs. M.L.Leonard, Mrs. O.T. Kelling, Mrs. W.A.Wilcoxson, E.L.Kelle and John Hain and Miss Sybil Kelling as pianist. Bearers serving were Sgt. H.M. Jones, L.O. Paden, R.L.Stout, S.C.Allen, E.F. Burney and June Martin. Burial was made in Highland Cemetery with Rev. Wilcoxson making the committal. Her Oklahoma Death Certificate, No. 16250 notes her cause of death as 'Acidosis & general exhaustion from epithelioma of face, nose, lips, several years. dehydration.' Her funeral home records reflect her name as 'Lizer Hawkins' and note 'Cancer' as the cause of death.
