Winner 4 times of Emmy Award, he was particularly appreciated by the audience for "Coneheads" with Dan Akroyd, "Nick the Lounge Singer", skit starring Bill Murray, and the screenplay of sketches for Steve Martin and Christopher Walker. Davis was also a frequent guest on the "Al Franken Show", appearing in sketches as various characters, including former U.S. Treasury Secretary John W. Snow and a male prostitute.
