Our beloved husband, father and grandfather lost his courageous battle with liver disease on 8/2/13. He was born July 14, 1956 in Boise, Idaho and adopted by James and Helen Baer. He grew up in Weiser, Idaho and converted to the LDS Church at the age of 22. He served an honorable LDS mission to Taiwan where he became fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He attended Brigham Young University and became a successful entrepreneur. He was sealed to his eternal sweetheart Michele Palmer Baer in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He had a firm and abiding testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All who knew him appreciated his quick wit and selfless nature.
Lonny was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Michele Baer; children: Aaron (Lindsey), Jared (Bethany), Vanessa (Austin), Kristina Fario, Michelle (Taylor), and Michael Fario; grandchildren: Taven, Dante, Kiera, Mea, Kaelen and Ammon; Parents-in-law: Philip and Caroline Palmer, numerous brothers and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Funeral Home (2350 E. 1300 S. Salt Lake City, UT). A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 AM prior to the services. Condolences can be shared at www.larkinmortuary.com.
