DEL RIO — John Henry "Big John" Escue Jr., 79, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, in
a San Antonio hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Northside
Baptist Church with military burial in Del Rio Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Escue; daughters, Janis Horne and Dian Lees;
son, John Carl Escue; brother, Irven Escue of San Angelo; and sisters, Winnie
Smith, Alma Gene Higgins of San Angelo and Anna Kosel of Norwalk, Ohio.
