Charles H Currie was born in 1842 to George W and Susan E (nee Sutherland) Currey/Currie.
Charles married Phoebe Grant daughter of David Lawrence and Susannah Grant on Feb 7 1871 which was also recorded in the 1871 New Brunswick, Canada census if you were married within that year.
The couple had three children;
George Gordon Currie Born: 1873;
Ella Maude Currie Born: 1875;
Harry Winfred Currie Born: 1879 all who were Born in Springhill, Kingsclear Parish, York County, New Brunswick.

Charles was farming with his father and Grandparents and upon his marriage it was decided that if he should take care of his mother "Susan" until her death he would be granted his Grandfather George Sutherland's farm. Charles did this however unfortunately for him he was injured while thrashing grain in the barn and not taking it as a serious matter he was afflicted by his injury and died within 3 days leaving a wife and three small children behind.

Chas. Currie died at Kingsclear ( York Co.) last night from the effects of the rupture or clogging of an artery in his right arm. Deceased first felt the trouble on Saturday afternoon after thrashing some oats and thought little of it until Sunday night when it assumed a serious character, the arm swelling to over twice the natural arm. Dr. Coburn was summoned. Mr. Currie was the son of George W. Currie who is at present living in New York with his two sons, W. F. Currie and Allison Currie are brothers of the deceased who leaves a wife and two or three children

Southampton (York Co.) March 17th - Gordon GRANT went down river last week to attend the funeral of his brother-in-law, Charles CURRIE and has not yet returned. Mr. Currie was at one time a courier in the late Joel Miller's tannery, near the foot of Cronk Island

Specifically: Charles and his wife Phoebe were buried in the Kingsclear Parish however we have been told by the Locals that their bodies may be under water in the Head pond from the Dam that was built on the St John river.
