Robert D. Perry, 56, of 5278
S. Lincoln, died at 5 a.m. today
at Methodist Hospital at In-
dianapolis following an illness
of several years. Before his re-
tirement because of ill health,
he had worked as a shoe sales-
man at several Columbus
stores.
Funeral service will be con-
ducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at
Norman Funeral Home at
Hope where persons may call
from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Bur-
ial will be at Hope Moravian
Cemetery.
Perry was born in Shelby
County Jan 20, 1925, the son of
the late Ray Perry and Mayme
Gilliland Perry Straub of Third
Street. He married Juanita
Mahoney in 1944 and she sur-
vives. He was a veteran of
World War 2.
Other survivors include a
daughter, Carol Nasby of
Whiteland; a sister, Kathryn
Kanouse of Lake Alfred, Fla.,
and five grandchildren.
