Lee Adkins, 38, of Lebanon, Va., formerly of Pikeville, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, at the Lebanon Medical Center, following a three-year illness. He was born Sept. 8, 1960, a son of Roy Lee Pinson of Bellview, Fla., and Priscilla Anderson of Pikeville.
He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by Geneva Rice and his grandparents, Harold and Mary Adkins.
He is survived by his stepfather, Eldee Anderson; his wife,Ollie Marlene Adkins; one son, Brandon Lee Adkins of Lebanon; one daughter, Marlena Hope Adkins of Lebanon; one sister, Susie Stiltner of Grundy, Va.; four stepbrothers, Darrell Anderson, Bennie Anderson and Gregory Anderson, all of Kimper, James Anderson of Belfry; and one stepsister, Connie Folley of Belfry.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, in the Pike County Chapel with Dean Lyons and Randall Good officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at East Shelbiana.
Arrangements are under direction of Justice Funeral Services - Pike County Chapel of Zebulon.
