"Death of Aged Lady. "Mrs. Isabelle Cline died here at the home of son, Sheriff J.B. Cline, at twelve o'clock Thursday night, of dropsy (sic) She had been ailing for some time past, but was only confined to her bed three days. The funeral services were conducted by Elder Alec Crinshaw from the Leesburg church Friday afternoon at about five o'clock, after which Mrs. Cline was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Leesburg cemetery. Mr. Cline died fours years ago last May. Deceased was 84 years and 20 days of age. Her maiden name was Isabelle King. With her husband and children she came to Stafford county from Kentucky in the fall of '78 and located in the Leesburg neighborhood where they live for a great many years. After becoming too old to continue active work of life, deceased and her husband, about twenty years ago, went to make their home with their son, J.B. Cline where both resided until death called them. "Deceased leaves six children--a daughter and five sons. She had been a member of the Church of Christ for many years."
