Frank was married to Christina Marie Koenig on 19 Nov 1927 in St Paul, Minnesota. The two celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Fresno, California with a renewal of their vows before family and friends.
Together, Frank and Tina had two children; Frank Jr and Mary Therese.
In the late 1930's Frank moved his family for a brief time to Spokane, Washington and then again in the early 1940's to Los Angeles, California.
Frank was a metal etcher by trade.
He is best remembered by his grandchildren for the footstool he kept filled with wrapped candies.
Brother of Walter Breuning who held the title of "Oldest Man in the World" for two years.
