Charles W. Wheeler, 72, Native of Cuba, Is Dead
Cuba, Ill Sept (special)
Charles Wesley Wheeler, 72, died last evening at the home of his brother, Joseph, route 1, Cuba. He had been ill a month.
Mr. Wheeler, a baker by trade, was in business with his brother, Joseph, in Wyoming, Ill., for several years. Later he was in the same business in Morning Sun, Iowa, for more than 20 years.
Born near Cuba, Nov. 21, 1845 {?check source}, a son of John and Margaret (Harris) Wheeler, he was married to Fannie Cline in Lewistown in 1893. He made his home in El Paso, Texas with a nephew, Bernard Cline, for several years after the death of his wife in November 1932. On August 17, 1938 he came to Illinois to visit his brothers and sisters, and was taken ill shortly after arriving at the home of a brother, William, who resides south of that city. Later he suffered two strokes and was taken to the home of his brother, William.
Surviving, besides the two brothers, are five sisters, Mrs. -------- Payne, East Peoria, Mrs.------- Payne, Bloomington, Mrs. ------ France, Ipava, Mrs. Frank Wilson, Plymouth, and Mrs. Curtis Buffum, Cuba.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of nephew, Bernard Cline, of _______ . The body was taken to the ------ Mortuary in Cuba. -------- Friends may call.

Fannie Cline Wheeler is buried in Morning Sun, Iowa at the Elmwood Cemetery, Louisa County
