STATE OF ILLINOIS, Clay County, I R W Sandlin a Minister of the Gospel hereby certify that Mr. Squire Lowry Smith and Miss Margaret Hoke were united in Marriage by me at Bible Grove in the County of Clay and State of Illinois, on the First day of December A.D. 1875 - Signed: R W Sandlin.

Mrs. Mary Smith Dies At The Home Of Her Daughter

Mrs. Mary E. Smith, 90 years of age, the widow of Squire Smith, died Friday evening, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nelson, in Sailor Springs.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, from the Branson Funeral Home in Flora, with Rev. Earl J. White, pastor of the Flora Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith is survived by six sons and daughters, among whom is G.A. Smith of Flora.
