Thomas Lemuel Jenkins 1808 South, Carolina - 1870 Carrol, Missouri.
The family moved to Pike, Indiana before 1860.
1860 US Census shows Martha and Thomas Jenkins living next door to the Andersons. The Jenkins daughter, Julia Ann Jenkins son, Oscar Frank later married Elizabeth "Lizze" Anderson.
19 Feb 1862 married in Gibson, Indiana to John Williams and they had two children Oscar Frank and Lorrah "Luella" 1864-?
Her husband John dissapears from history about 1864. He is not the last man in the Civil War to die.
05 Sep 1867 married in Pike, IN to Stephen Rogers Hall 1818-1882. They had five children;
Martha Elizabeth "Lizzie" 1869-1952,
Willis 1871-1936, Rev Robert "Bennett" 1873-1964,
Orville Albert 1875- before 1880, and
James Ray 1878-?
23 Dec 1882 married in Princeton, Indiana to Layfayette Hightower.
Her headstone birth and death dates aren't legible.
Family Bible shows she was burried in Oatville, Pike, Indiana. She passed away approximatly 1883 of "intermittent fever". The five younger children went to an orphange.
