Colvin S. Abrams, 81, passed away at his home, Thursday, February 14, 2013.
He was born January 6, 1932 in Danville, VA, a son of the late Jack and Esther Rosenberg Abrams.
Colvin began his career in the furniture industry with Bloom Furniture Company in High Point, NC and later was a vice-president of sales for Frank & Sons Furniture in New York City. He was a former employee with Conway United Furniture Factory. Colvin was a member and past president of Temple Emanu-El, and board member for many years. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Teasa Bloom Abrams; two daughters, Linda Fleming and her husband Stephen of Norfolk, VA, Debra Bucci and her husband Arthur of Yardley, PA; one brother; Davis Abrams of Atlanta, GA ; one sister, Sylvia Fogel of Augusta, GA; two grand-children, Daniel and Eve Bucci. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, February 17, 2013 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Rabbi Avi Perets officiating. Burial will follow at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
