Cameron Herald Thur., 25 Sept 1902

Marriage - Last Sunday evening at the Methodist parsonage in Cameron Miss Ida Hobbs of Temple and Mr. Allen D. Hooks of this city were united in marriage. Rev. James Killgore officiating. The bride is an amiable and deservedly popular young lady and once resided in this county. She was in our city on a visit to the family of Dr. W. T. Mowdy. Mr. Hooks was reared in Cameron and is now with the Bryant & Bond company. He is a brother of Messrs. Frank and Jim Hooks and is a sober, idustrious and popular young man. The wedding was quite a surprise, only a few friends being apprised of it. We extend our congratulations.
