Sister Rita Bai, of the Sisters of St. Dorothy, Villa Fatima on County Street, died Monday Apr 06, 1998 at Morton Hospital and Medical Center following a long illness. She was 91. Born in Brugherio, Milano, Italy, Sister Bai entered into religious life in 1929 and took her final vows in Oct 1937. Her first ministry was in Richmond, NY in 1938. Sister Bai had been at Villa Fatima since 1968. She was daughter of the late Andrea and Maria Ana (Mariani) Bai. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Silva Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
