WEST POINT – Luciell Dale Brooks, 66, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, in West Point. A native of West Point, she was born Jan. 10, 1936. She was a Baptist and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She was retired. She was a good neighbor to everyone.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Longstreet officiating. Burial will be in West Point Memorial Gardens. Carter’s Mortuary Service is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, the Rev. Willie James Dale and his wife, Gertrude, and Bobby Lee Dale Sr. and his wife, Bernice, all of West Point, and Eugene Dale and his wife, Michele, of St. Louis; her father, Bill Dale Jr.; four brothers, Bill Dale III and his wife, Hazel, of Cleveland, Ohio, Odell Dale and his wife, Sarah, of West Point, Johnnie Floyd Dale and his wife, Sandra, of St. Louis, and Larry Dale and his wife, Mary, of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Linda Dale of West Point; four grandchildren, Latricia Rhodes and her husband, Harvey, Yolanda Dale, Bobby Dale Jr. and Geneva Dale; three great-grandchildren, Lenell Anderson, Harmond Rhodes and Harvey Rhodes, all of St. Louis; an aunt, Lorene Williams of West Point; a sister-in-law, Sally Ann Dale of St. Louis; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Mariah Lindsey Dale; a sister, Mary Dale; and two brothers, John Lee Dale and Robert Dale.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
