Funeral services for Kyhla Anne Mitchell, 16, of Palestine will be at 11 am, Saturday June 23, 2012, at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with Reverend Kevin Wilmott officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.

Kyhla died Monday, June 18, 2012 in Lumberton.

She was born on July 4, 1995, in Watertown, NY. Kyhla was a resident of Palestine for the majority of her life. She was soon to be a senior at Lumberton High School where she enjoyed playing soccer and cheerleading. Kyhla had numerous friends, was very outgoing, and well loved by everyone.

Survivors include her mother Angie (Benavidez) Boyd and dad Charlie Boyd of Palestine; brothers, Kalob Mitchell of Palestine and Jason Boyd of South Fork, CO; sisters Khersty Newman and Alexandra Boyd Naismith both of Palestine.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, June 22, 2012, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
