JEFF OXLEY, 55, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 6, 2007, at his home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a licensed electrician who was an electrical sales specialist for Home Depot. He was a member of AARP, Sons of the American Legion and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. He loved fishing, cooking/ grilling, popping popcorn, and gardening. He was devoted to his nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters and parents. He was a Notre Dame football, and White Sox fan. Survivors include mother, Ann (Adang) Oxley of Fort Wayne; brothers, Joseph (Maryann) Oxley of Fort Wayne, Jamie (Sally Zahm) Oxley of Sarasota, Fla. and Kevin (Deb) Oxley of Avon Lake, Ohio; sisters, Kathleen (Don) Wiggins of Yucca Valley, Calif., Maureen (Alan) Gaff of Fort Wayne, Christeen Rhodes of Camarillo, Calif., Sister Julie Marie Oxley OSF of Fort Wayne, Valerie (Michael) Fouch of Brownsburg, and Amy Oxley of Indianapolis; four nieces; 12 nephews; two grandnieces; and a grandnephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Oxley; and a brother, Daniel Oxley. Service is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 S. Fairfield Ave., calling one hour prior. Fr. Daryl Rybicki officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., with Vigil at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to S.P.C.A., Habitat for Humanity or donor's choice.
