Funeral Held For Eunice Gregg
Funeral services for Eunice Gregg, 74, were held at 11a.m. Saturday, May 1, 1965 at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Cecil Tomlin officiating.
Mrs. Don McElhaney and Mrs. Cecilia Bonnette sang the "Old Rugged Cross". Casket bearers were Russell Wallace, Lee Colbaugh, Dick Ridgeway, Jess Groninger, Willie Nelson and Orvil Wills.
Burial was in the Hominy City Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
Eunice Gregg was born April 17, 1891,in Benton County, Missouri and passed away April 28, 1965 at her daughter's home in Cushing, Oklahoma.
She came to Hominy when she was 8 years old. She moved to Oilton in August of 1963 and Cushing about a year ago.
Survivors include her daughter Edith Hettenbach of Cushing; three brothers, Thomas Owsley of Kingman, Arizona, Jones Owsley of Pawhuska, and James B. Owsley of Hominy and seven grandchildren.
