David Blackford was a Pvt in the Revolutionary War and is buried in South Plainfield, N.J.
David's parents were Jeremiah Blackford born about 1717 and Zerviah Martin born about the same time. David married Hannah Fitz Randolph who was born around 1772 in Plainfield, New Jersey to Nehemiah Fitz-Randolph and Phebe Wooden. David was born in Piscataway, New Jersey.
