Funeral services for Millie Hill Bryan, 88, were held Monday October 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Perry Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Ms. Bryan died Friday at Tift Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bryan was born in Ashville, NC, the daugher of the late James Robert and Harriet Victoria Brown Hill. She was a member of the Baptist faith and the widow of Solomon Elijah "S.E," Bryan. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and loving grandmother, known to her family as "Ma".
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her children, James Robert (Linda) Bryan, Chula, GA, Eddie Joe (Triscilla) Bryan, Ashburn, GA, and Victoria (Gene) Wilson, Rebecca, GA. Also surviving is one brother, James D. Hill, Ringgold, GA, Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
