Sadie Phillips Marshall, 85, of Radford, died Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
She was a member of the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was a professional seamstress for 40 years and was very active in her church and volunteer work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orbie S; and Elizabeth Phillips and an infant son, Perry Lee Marshall.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Quinton Ray Marshall of Radford; a son and daughter-in law, Ernie and Jackie Marshall of, Christiansburg; a daughter and -son-in law, Angia and Wayne Hall of Radford; four grandchildren, Luke Brandon Marshall, Lance, Ryan Marshall, Kayleigh Elizabeth Hall and Kameron Ray Hall; a special brother and sister-in-law, Kirby and Edna Phillips of New River; a special sister, Okie McGuire of Radford; and many other family members.
Funeral services were held Tuesday. Nov. 22 at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, with . Rev. Terry Woodard officiating; Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Fairlawn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church Capital Improvement Fund. The family received friends Monday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
