age 86, of Canton, passed away Sunday evening. Born in Canton to the late Antonio and Agnes (Uberta) Cora, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary A. Minocchi, Lena A. Stevens; brothers, Joseph A. Cora, Dominic A. Cora and Orlando Rich. A proud Army veteran of WW II, Oscar was retired from Diebold. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a Free Mason and the American Legion.
He is survived by his children, Anthony L. (Pam) Cora, Rita (Richard) Claus, Dan (Kim) Cora, Louise (Butch) Sizemore; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; brothers, Julius T. and Carl J. Cora; ex-wife, Henriette Cora; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Rossi Funeral Home with services to follow at noon, Rev. Fr. John Zuzik officiating. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
