SALISBURY--- Two Salisbury sisters died about 30 minutes apart over the weekend.
Mrs. Milda Amsbaugh, 66, died shortly before midnight Friday, and her sister, Mrs. Nevada Peachee, 74, died early Saturday morning. They were patients at Community Memorial Hospital in Moberly and had been ill for some time.
Mrs. Amsbaugh was born June 29, 1905, and Mrs. Peachee was born April 31, 1897 (sic). Both were born at Forest Green, the daughters of Charles and Minnie Easterhouse Kothe.
Mrs. Amsbaugh leaves her husband, William, of Salisbury; daughter, Nina Lee, Chester, Pa.; three sons, Glen Fox, Chester, Pa.; and Herbert and Gary Fox, Columbia; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Peachee leaves a husband, Clarence, of Salisbury.
Also surviving the two sisters are their two brothers, Emil Kothe, Salisbury; and Leon Kothe, Mexico.
Double funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the Immanuel Luthern (sic) Church at Salisbury, with the Rev. Robert Rickus officiating, and burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
The Berry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
