Clarence G. Bennin, 61, of Rt. 1, Kiel, Town of Meeme died unexpectedly
Thursday evening at home.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home,
Kiel, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill.
The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the
Mr. Bennin was born Feb. 22, 1913, at St. Nazianz, son of the late
Benjamin and Olive Ahl Bennin. He married Mary Lagenhahn Nov. 4, 1936,
at Holy Trinity Catholc Church, School Hill, living at Manitowoc a few
years before moving to the present home in the Town of Meeme. He had
been employed at Burger Boat Co. Inc., Manitowoc, and was a member of
Holy Trinity Parish.
Survivors include his wife, four sons (Survivors omitted for privacy.);
three brothers, William Bennin, of Spring Valley, Robert Dunn, of
Sheboygan and Bernard Dunn, of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Alice
Rugowski of Manitowoc, Mrs. Adeline Bonbinski, of Berlin and Mrs. Gilbert
Born, of rural Cleveland and 13 grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday, where a
wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
