Anna "Maxine" Backstrom, 70, of Levittown, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 1996, in the Attleboro Health Care Center, Langhorne, Pa. She was born Nov. 20, 1925, in Whyle, Pa., a daughter of the late James and Louise McKean Omler. She was employed by the N.B.A. Credit Union in Bristol, Pa. and the Backstrom Pharmacy in Elizabeth, PA. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Clairton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Backstrom Sr.
