Reedy Springs, Georgia, July 19, 1886: Hardy Allagood, One of Lauren's County best citizens died at his home, near here, yesterday at 3 o'clock P.M.. He will be buried with Masonic honors tomorrow at 10 o'clock A.M. in the family cemetery near the old homestead. He was a consistent member of the Baptist Church, and while we know he "rest from his labors and his works do follow him." still we deplore the loss of so good a neighbor and true Christian. His wife is , we are sorry to state, very sick and not expected to survive him many days.
