Resolutions of Condolence, Hastings Grange No. 339 F. of H.

Whereas, it has pleased Providence to remove from our number a worthy and beloved sister, Mrs. Martha Coon, a charter member and officer of this Grange, who departed this life on the 20th day of July, 1878, in the 44th year of her age; therefore Resolved, that in the death of sister Coon, this Grange looses an active and earnest member, whose loss we deeply mourn. Resolved, That the members of this Grange extend their heartfelt sympathy to the husband and friends of the deceased in this their sad bereavement. Resolved, That our charter be draped in mourning for the next three months, in token of our respect to the memory of our deceased sister. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be presented to the bereaved family and entered upon the minutes of this meeting and sent to the different papers for publication.
