Hazel Bordeleau, 88, passed away, after battling with Alzheimer's.
She was born October 26, 1923 in Atlanta, GA, daughter to the late Edgar and Mava (Kitchens) Cunard.
She married Sinai Bordeleau in 1942 after a short courtship before he left for WWII. She was his beloved wife for 64 years. He predeceased her on March 20, 2006.
Hazel worked for 43 years at Triangle Plastic Wire and Cable in Jewett City. She donated much of her time volunteering for various positions with the Town of Griswold. Hazel was a communicant of St. Marys Church in Jewett City.
Besides her husband she was predeceased by two sisters Frieda and Bernice, and her brother Eliot.
