[Predeceased by his loving wife Jean (Anderson) Sangster 1915-1991 and his parents William Sangster 1879-1933 and Blanche (Robertson) Sangster 1884-1960.]

It is with great sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Bill Sangster on May 20, 2004 at the Grace Hospital.

Bill was an avid sportsman who as a young man was known as one of Manitoba's top sprinters. He also enjoyed hunting, golfing and curling. Bill also had a tremendous love for animals. It was curling that Bill with his twin brother George excelled. Together they won many trophies and were considered one of Manitoba's top teams. In 1948 they reached their big goal by representing Manitoba in "The Brier", Canada's National Championship.

For many years Bill and brother George owned and operated Sangster Wagon and Body Works. In his later years, Bill worked as an estimator for MPIC [The Manitoba Pubilic Insurance Corporation].

Left to cherish Bill's memory are his family, numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

He was a kind, gentle, generous, loveable soul.
