Rev. Zane French Adams, 45, Lindale Rte. 1, died Sunday in an out of town hospital following a short illness.

Rev. Adams was born in Muncie, Ind., July 6, 1933, son of the late Ruth Davisson and Wayne O. Adams. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and chaplain of the Georgia School for the Deaf at Cave Spring.

Survivors include the former Barbara Howard, three sons, Mark S. Adams, Paul A. Adams and Gary W. Adams, all of Lindale Rte. 1; three brothers, Aaron Adams, Arlington, Va., Elza Adams, Indianapolis, Ind. and Keith Adams, Ogden, Utah; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Henderson Frazier Funeral home with the Rev. John Clark officiating. Interment will be in Floyd Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Steve Sheppard, Bud Plopper, Douglas Adams, Lamar Bayne, Mark Smith and Eugene Perdue.
