|Levenia aka:Wilkinson "Lavina" Wilkerson Burns|
|Death: ||Oct., 1863|
Lavina married William Holcomb Burns 10 Jun 1838 in Polk Co., Missouri.
William and Lavina had nine children. Their names are: Israel Whittington Burns, Proctor Mandeville Burns, Richard R. Burns, Eberle C. Burns, Lavina Burns-Epley, William P. Burns, John Burns, Florence B. Burns-McCullough and Anne Burns-? (married last name unknown).
Lavina passed away sometime in October of 1863. She was a widow when she passed away. Her son Proctor, who was serving in the Civil War 8th Missouri Cavalry, requested and was granted a 30 day leave so he could go home and take care of his siblings who were still young at the time of their mother's death. Being that his father had already passed away in 1858, there was no left to take care of the younger children and that is why Proctor had to go home.
