Kimberley Michelle Axtman 37, born January 26, 1970, died suddenly from an undiagnosised medical condition. Kim grew up in Monroe attending school there, but graduated from Sultan High School in 1988. She recently resided in Ferndale, Washington.
Kim was an accomplished furniture builder and owned an Espresso in Smokey Point for many years. Her dogs were a very important part of her life most recently her Rottweiler Jordon. She loved camping and boating at Sun Lakes and Lake Wenatchee. Kim was a very independent person starting at age 4, when she cut the straps off her new saltwater sandals making them into slip ons; "BECAUSE SHE MADE A DECISION!!!!" That was our Kim.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vernon Thomas, (Old Pa) and her beloved dog, Jordan.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at St. Mary of the Valley, 601 W. Columbia, Monroe, WA. Interment at G.A.R.
