William C. D. "Bill" Bucker married Sara Jane Childs, on December 7, 1865, in Monroe, GA. He was the son of Freeland J. Buckner and Nancy Harvey Buckner**. Their children are Cora A., Minnie White, Addie, Katherine Tallulah, Willis Freeland, Ida R., Sarah Josephine and William Mattison Buckner; siblins, Avery J., Susan H., Charity Jane, Mary F. and Sarah Jo Buckner.
