A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, 1999, in Mt. Scott Funeral Home for Rodger P. Lex, who died March 5 at age 53.
Mr. Lex was born March 21, 1945, in Seattle. He moved to Portland as a youth, graduated from Clackamas High School and attended college for two years. He was a certified welder, working at Warren Winch and Wagner Mining. He later worked as an independent carpenter.
Survivors include his sons, Christopher P. and Michael, both of Sandy; daughter, Yvette of Ohio; stepsons, Jeff Davis and Eric Smith; father, Raymond of Woodburn; mother, Marie Plounce of Portland; sister, Janet Butts of Las Vegas; companion, Cindy Smith of Portland; and two grandchildren.
Interment will be in Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery.

Note: I requested a photo of the marker but per Judy Griffin (volunteer), the office informed her that he does not have one. February 14, 2012
