Brother of Local Men Passed Away Friday
Paul I. Best, 71 of Palmyra, formerly of Carlinville and Hettick, passed away Friday, Jan. 2 at 12:50am at Lakeview Nursing Home, Carlinville.
The decedent is survived by his wife, Nona; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Zelmer of Palmyra; Mrs. Margaret Teitsworth, of West Reading, Pa.; four brothers, Walter and Earl of Carlinville; William, of Palmyra; Arthur of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Weller, of Palmyra; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Stults Funeral Home, Palmyra, where funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 PM. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
