Fred W. Boyd - TRINIDAD
Services for Fred W. Boyd, 75, Trinidad, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Athens with the Revs. Floyd Loven and Frank Upchurch officiating.
Burial will be in Trinidad Cemetery. Mr. Boyd died Tuesday in an Athens nursing home after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 29, 1912, in Tennessee and resided in Trinidad 59 years. He was employed with Texas Power & Light in Trinidad as a senior mechanic for 27 years and retired in 1962. He was a World War II veteran of U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Deresy Boyd, Trinidad; two sisters, Edna Arbuckle, Malakoff, and Hazel Bearden, Trinidad; a niece, Cora Burton, Trinidad: a nephew.
Edward Jock, Roseville, Calif.; and several other nieces and nephews.
