Mrs. Lamar G. Carter Dies in Florida
Mrs. Lamar G. Carter, formerly a resident of Charlotte and well known here, died Wednesday morning in Mayo, Fla. where she lived. She was a sister of Mrs. M. F. Trotter of Charlotte, Mrs. J. P. Morrison, of Concord, and Mr. E. C. Morris, Newell. She was educated at Presbyterian College in this city. Mrs. Carter was before marriage Miss Sudie Morris and at the time of her death was about 36 years old. She married Mr. Carter two years ago in Florida. She had many friends in the sections who will regret to learn of her death.
