Lewis Wayne Beck, age 53, of 4789 US Hwy. #1, died Friday, August 24, 2001, at his home. He was born in Durham Co., the son of the late Tina Boyd Beck and William Harvey Beck and was the owner of Beck's Service Station, in Creedmoor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2001, at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Beck is survived by his wife, Jean Pleasants Beck; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Scott Ross, of wake Forest; sister, Harvey Ann Goodwin, of Durham; brother, Frankie Beck, of Creedmoor; and grandson, Andrew Ross, of Wake Forest.
