He leaves his step-mother, Mrs. Pauline Bencini of Murphysboro, two sisters, Mrs. Don Williams of Leavensworth, Kansas, and Miss Esther Bencini of Murphysboro, and three brothers, Rupert of Kansas City, Mo., and Edward and Willim of Murphysboro.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Murphysboro.
The body will remain at the Crawshaw Funeral Home until Friday, when it will be removed to the home.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the home on 2225 Pine St., the Rev. William Boatman officiating.
Burial will be in Tower Grove cemetery.
