|Birth: ||Jan. 7, 1878|
|Death: ||Jan. 13, 1900|
Born to Reinhold John Dasbach and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Sonner) Dasbach, 7 January 1878, in Quincy, Illinois.
Alexander, known as "Allie" to family and friends, was a bright, popular young man. He enjoyed taking part in Turn Verein, which was a gymnastics club primarily of German descent. His mother died when he was very young, and then his sister. He seems to have been given to an aunt and uncle to raise. He lost his father while still a boy as well. According to his obituary, Allie died from consumption caused by tuberculosis. This was the same illness that had killed his mother.
Alexander Dasbach died 13 January 1900 in Quincy, Illinois and was interred there at Woodland cemetery near his family, on 16 January 1900.
