Lake Huntington, Jan. 26 -- Mrs. Bertha I. Anderson, aged 50, died of a rare blood disease at her home at Lava Jan. 20, after a few weeks illness. The funeral was held last Sunday, with a service at the Narrowsburg Lutheran church, of which she was a member, and interment in the cemetery there by Rasmussen.
Mrs. Anderson was born in the Town of Bethel Dec. 31, 1893, a daughter of Henry and Laura Cochran. She married August Anderson of Lava, who died some years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Nober of Binghamton; a son, Milton of Cochecton; two sisters and two brothers -- Mrs. Charles Gabriel of Bethel, and Mrs. George Simmons and Edward and Chester Cochran of Binghamton.
