Born in New York City to Joseph Leib and Otelia John Tenenbaum, he grew up going to concerts & operas on Saturday matinees. As a young boy of 5 he had meningitis and nearly succumbed. He went to Cornell then on to graduate & medical schools in Lauzanne, Switzerland. After fighting in WW II he returned to the US for his internship and residency. He eventually went into private practice in San Luis Obispo, CA. First wife, Janine he met in France and one child, Margie was born to them. In 1959 he married Annie Denny Donohoe and left her his widow in 2003.
