Services for Mrs. S. R. Fleming, 51, who died at her home near Glen Allan Friday morning after a long illness were held at Glen Allan Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in Greenfield cemetery with Stovall Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fleming had lived in the Lake Washington area near Glen Allan for 25 years. Mr. Fleming is a Washington county farmer.
She leaves her husband; three sons, Luther Fleming, Greenville, Eugene Fleming, now in the Army and Dewitt Fleming, Hollandale; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Morris, Jackson, and Miss Maudie Fleming, Hollandale; two brothers, William and Campbell Ray, McCool and four sisters, Mrs. R. C. Hunt, McCool; Mrs. Johnny Watt, McLeod; Mrs. A. L. King, Ackerman and Mrs. Grover Ingram, Carthage.
The pallbearers for Saturday's services included W. F. Odom, Bruce Sp[ears?], Tim Cleveland, [Dave?] Porter, Bob Jordan and F. Smith.
