Anna A. (DePaulo) Abate, 84, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Touchpoints at Farmington. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Abate.
She was born March 12, 1931 in Southington, daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa (DeFeo) DePaulo. She had been a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
She is survived by her children, John Abate and wife Kathleen of Plainville and Mark Abate and wife Elena of Puerto Rico, a sister Theresa DePaulo Munger and husband Richard of Terryville and a brother-in-law Al Abate of New Jersey. She also leaves two grand children, Jennifer LeBrun and her husband Gregory of Southington, and Theresa Abate of Bristol, 2 great grandchildren, Farah and Brody LeBrun, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter JoAnn M. Testa, four sisters Laura, Mary, Rose, and Louise, and four brothers, Dominic, Ralph, Stephen "Joe", and Pasquale.
