Funeral services for Justin Neil Landers, 18, of Joshua will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12 at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
Justin died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at his home. He was a student.
Justin is survived by his father, Steven Darrin Landers of Burleson; mother, Sharon Kim Patton of Granbury; stepmother, Linda Landers of Burleson; sisters, Christa Gilbreath and Stevie Landers, both of Burleson, and Amber Landers of Fort Worth; grandparents, Bill Landers of Joshua, Elaine Landers of Joshua, John and Joan Patton of Alvarado.
Justin requested that any memorials be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 5280 Trail Lake Drive, Suite 5, Fort Worth, Texas 76133.
He wanted to especially thank Dr. Pfaff and all the pulmonary staff, the Three South nurses and respiratory therapist at Cook Children's Hospital and to his extended families - the Bryants, LaBlancs, Yorks and Rodriguezes. He sent a very special thank you to Louis and the security guards at Cook Children's Hospital.
